Ciao UES, how are you?
Hey man, I’m fine, thanks. Enjoying some days off at my parents place.
Have you been on road this weekend?
Yeah, I have been playin two gigs on friday and sunday morning. Especially the last one was really great.
How does a typical day after party look like?
Depends on where I am and who is with me… Normally if I’m with my girlfriend I like to go out for a walk in the city.
Did you ever experience anything crazy at a gig?
Every time! The most crazy thing I’ve experienced is when someone came and asked me for some drum & bass shit))
What are your musical influences?
Every kind of good music. I was introduced to house music by my brother who was djing as a 15 year old (I was 9). Since then I always tried to experiment, with a bass first and then with turntables. The last step was 5 years ago when I started producing my own beats. Since then I never stopped doing music – every day has his own influence so every moment is cool to do a new beat.
What’s your all-time favourite track?
“Ray Hurley – Your Love”.
Which equipment do you use for producing your music?
When I started I used Ableton Live. Now I incremented some cool external devices like Kore 2 or the Maschine.
What are your future projects or releases?
Well I have been remixing for the last 6 months… Now is coming up the first release of my new project PULPYT (togheter with my buddy Linuz) on All Inn Records, a label that i really admire for what they did in less than one year. Then I’ll have a double 12″ on my favourite italian label “Exprezoo” which will include 4 original tracks and remixes from Joss Moog and Mel Rosario. Something different but still actual. Not to mention that i’ll tour through the USA in may and june. Really lookin forward to that!
