Je ne regrette rien…

After Greece, we’re now visiting our great neighbors in France. Beside Baguettes, Cheese and a lotta hot fashion chics “House Music” is written with a capital H! This also knows our man JULIEN SANDRE! After his bomb release “Satisfaction” on Diynamic and his EP on Monique Speciale more and more people are waking up and catching the young shooting star’s attention. Please fasten your seatbelts!

Some words…

Salut Julien, how are you?
I´m very fine thanks. I love spring time!
Have you been on road this weekend?
Not at this moment. I’m currently concentrating on studio work. I’m looking for new sonorities for my music.
How does a typical day after party look like?
I love to stay with my family and my girlfriend. I like talk about music with my great friends Nico, Mill, Luca & Romano. And then of course some time is spent in studio!
Did you ever experience anything crazy at a gig?
Every gig is an incredible experience for me. I love seeing people dancing to my music. During my last party when I played my track “satisfaction” people started to scream and sing. AMAZING!
What are your musical influences?
I love Jamiroquai and his music has certainly influenced my sound together with the great masters of house music like Kerri Chandler, MAW, Lil’Louis, Mr. G, Ricky Morrison, Paul Johnson, Todd Terry, Derrick Carter, Pete Heller…
What’s your all-time favourite track?
“M&S – Salsoul Nugget” has a special value for me.
Which equipment do you use for producing your music?
Ableton and my fantasy…
What are your future projects or releases?
Some days ago my latest vinyl release came out on Monique Speciale. Now I’m working on new “top-secret” projects :)
Thanks for the interview. Any last words?
Sure, I would like to thank thebasement, I really enjoyed this experience. Save the vinyl & ENJOY THE MUSIC!
