The Rhine-Main-House-Area is what he calls home. FELIX NEUMANN is the next youngster we’re focussing on in our podcast series. With his residency at the “MONO” party in Heidelberg he’s luring a lotta partyharders with high class bookings from the big camps like oslo, cecille, 8bit and so on. Of course he already released his own stuff on labels like Brise or Mitu. So what shall we say? Keep it up, bro!

Hi Felix, how are you?
The weather gets better so im fine!!
Have you been on road this weekend?
Yes, I played at my monthly residency MONO @ Klub-K in Heidelberg together with V.Sexion (from thebasement Podcast 014). Always great Parties there!!
How does a typical day after party look like?
Chilling on the Couch, eating and watching TV.
Did you ever experience anything crazy at a gig?
There were a lot of crazy experiences in the past!!
What are your musical influences?
Hip Hop Music of the 90`s. I started to listen to electronic music about 4 Years ago, I would say. My main Influences are the whole guys from the Rhine-Main-Area and people like Ricardo, Raresh, Carola and the for sure the guys like Moodymann, Omar S, Todd Terry and so on.
What’s your all-time favourite track?
Very Difficult to say. I really love “Lets groove” from George Morel and the Moody edit of Omar-S’ “Day”.
Which equipment do you use for producing your music?
Ableton, APC, NI Komplete and Kore.
What are your future projects or releases?
There will be a track on a V.A. on Brise records, probably a release on Merkesdir and lets see what comes then…
